Happy New Year guys! I made a list of the books I wanted to finish this year. Of course, I will not limit myself with these books but these are the ones that I will make sure I’m going to finish this year:

  • Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
  • I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
  • The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
  • Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens
  • The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis
  • The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
  • The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami
  • Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
  • Desiring God by John Piper
  • IQ84 by Haruki Murakami
  • The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
  • The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards
  • The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
  • Set-Apart Femininity: God’s Sacred Intent for Every Young Woman by Leslie Ludy
  • The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis
  • The Best of This Is A Crazy Planets by Lourd de Veyra
  • Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
  • Lord of the Flies by William Golding
  • Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin by Bob Ong
  • Paper Towns by John Green
  • The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
  • The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
  • On Writing by Stephen King
  • The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens
  • Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut
  • 1984 by George Orwell
  • What’s So Amazing About Grace? by Philip Yancey
  • Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

Ever since The Hunger Games, I’ve been interested with Dystopian novels that’s why I want to read Orwell’s 1984. Also, femininity is a topic that has been appealing to me lately that’s why I’ve been itching to read Leslie Ludy too! I will check this again and see how many of these books have I read by the end of 2012.
